GOD HAD ANOTHER OPTION FOR HIS CREATION
The Lord God our Father made a way of escape from the judgment of our sins. We cannot save ourselves from the judgment that we have inherited. But the word above tells us that He is long-suffering and is not willing that any be lost. In Genesis 3:16, God said, talking to the serpent, that He would put enmity between his seed and the seed of the woman and that seed would bruise the head of the serpent and the serpent would bruise the seed of the woman. The seed the Lord God was talking about was Jesus Christ. He would be the one who would come and destroy the sin that was brought into the Garden that day which was designed to steal, kill, and destroy Gods creation. (John 10:10).
THE COMING OF THE SAVIOR
Now in the 6th month the angel Gabriel sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a "virgin" (quotes added) betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was Mary. The angel said to her Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you: blessed are you among women. Mary was troubled by the greeting, then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His Kingdom there will be no end. And Mary said, "how can this be since I do not know a man?" And the angel said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you: therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God."
This child that was to be, was conceived in Mary's womb as the Holy Spirit overshadowed her. As a result of Mary receiving the Word that the angel brought to her from the Holy Father, when Mary said to the angel, Behold thy maidservant of the Lord! LET IT BE TO ME ACCORDING TO YOUR "WORD," that word became alive in Mary's womb. The angel departed from her.
Mary was impregnated by the Word. The Word, was the seed that Mary received when she said, let it be unto your maidservant as you have said.
Perhaps there are those reading this that would say, I never heard of such a thing, that's impossible. But Matthew 19: 23, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.
When it came time for His birth, there were some shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the "glory of the Lord shone around them and they were greatly afraid." The angel said, do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, for there is born to you this day in the house of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. You will find the Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger. And the angels began to sing, "Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men." The word, highest, means the highest realm of heaven. This child would bring peace to the earth. He would bring comfort to His people. One of His names, Emanuel, means Savior of His people. .Jesus began His ministry at the age of 30 years and for three and a half years He walked about teaching and preaching that the Kingdom of God had come nigh unto them.
He healed them, delivered them of demons, and taught them of His Father and His love for all His creation. He fulfilled the Law of Moses and brought to us Grace and Mercy. He willingly went to the cross and paid for all the sins of mankind. His life was not taken from Him, He gave it freely. From the time of Adam up to the time of Christ crucifixion; from the end of time of human history back to the Crucifixion, and all of the present sins of all peoples today, were nailed to the Cross at Calvary.. He once and for all time, with His crucifixion paid our penalty of sin, and became the first of many brethren to be resurrected to eternal life. It was His blood that He spilled at Calvary that is able to eradicate all of our sins permanently.
